"Tarot of the Enchanted Land" by M. J. Cullinane, the author of the famous "Crow Tarot", is a portal into the mysterious and magical world of Ferhax, where fairies and mermaids live. This enchanted land is named after the Swedish... word forhaxa, which means "to enchant" and "to bewitch", and Scandinavian folklore, tales of fairies, and the works of Gustav Klimt served as inspiration for this deck. The "Tarot of the Enchanted Land", populated by heroes and villains, fairies and faeries, mermaids, and magical beings, consists of 78 cards and follows the classic structure of the Wait Tarot in a fresh authorial interpretation. The four main elements are used as suits of the Minor Arcana: Water, Air, Fire, and Earth – which enhances the connection with nature and transcends the busy human world.
